Software Quality Assurance Lead , AVP
Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for a talented Software Quality Assurance Lead with solid leadership and communication skills. Must have strong domain experience in Payments and well versed in the test management. In this role, your primary responsibility will be leading a team throughout the Application Testing Lifecycle. This will entail collaborating with development, business, and other application teams. Position offers location flexibility. We are primarily looking for someone located in the Princeton, New York and Boston Areas to be able to coordinate tasks with teams located in China/India/Boston/Toronto.
What you will be responsible for
As a Software Quality Assurance Lead you will:
• Work closely with Business SMEs and Application Vendor teams to understand Business requirements for ongoing projects, upgrades and enhancements
• Develop Test Strategy to provide adequate test coverage for the agreed scope covering critical business functions and list test approach
• Develop Test Plan with test milestones such as Functional/Regression/Integration/E2E testing to ensure alignment with the Industry milestones/Program roadmap
• Work closely with Product Owner and other stakeholders for Sprint planning and execution in a fast paced Agile environment
• Oversee test execution and provide key Quality Assurance metrics to Program managers and highlight risks/issues/challenges proactively
• Manage and prioritize defects with Application development team/Vendors for fixes
• Provide guidance on Automation strategy for Functional/Regression/Integration testing.
• Maintain repository of Test artifacts throughout the test lifecycle, perform internal review and participate in Audits
• Participate in Release management functions and provide sign off confirming that the final solution meets end user requirements
• Be able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure to meet Industry wide / Organizational deadlines
As a Payments domain professional you will:
• Strong experience in High value payments especially in the ISO20022 space across 2 or more markets such as CHAPS/Target2/Lynx/RITS/CBPR+/CHATS/CHIPS
• Excellent knowledge of ISO20022 messaging structure and formats along with SWIFT FIN MT messages
• Knowledge of Payments Clearing and Settlement process
• Understanding of the E2E back office payments landscape across Core Banking, Accounting, Reconciliation, Sanctions Screening, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management etc.
• Penchant to learn and adapt to the ever evolving Payments standards/Standard Releases/Message Usage guidelines
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 10 - 12 years of experience
• Have led a team for at least 4-5 years
• Proficient in Microsoft Tools, JIRA, Automation tools

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
